Darren took Will to the track to race his car a couple of weeks ago. Will was really excited to go. When they came home Will told me all about it beginning with how he was suppose to be 16 to ride with Darren on the track but he rode anyway. Will wore a helmet but I am glad that I did not know he would actually be in the car while Darren was racing. I thought Will was going to watch! I think (hope) that Darren drove slower than usually but Will said that the 2nd time he started feeling sick so they must not have been going too slow. They ate lunch at Long John Silvers and they came home and both took a nap.
I am glad that Darren took Will with him. Sometimes I feel that Will gets "looked over" since he is not the oldest, not the youngest, or not the girl. Darren and Jack have a lot in common so they naturally spend a lot of time together. Will beats to his own drum which I love about him but sometimes I think he is trying to find his place. He has such a huge heart!
