More Summer Fun & Colds!

Last week Will & Hannah both got colds and after 2 nights or no sleep for Hannah (and I of course) and 2 days of no eating, I took Hannah in and she had 2 ear infections. She never complained about it until I asked her so off we went to Urgent Care at 7pm. As luck may have it, my mom was working last night and we got there during a slow time so we were in and out in just over an hour! She is already feeling much better today. Will has also has a cold and like every other day, we have a hard time getting him to eat. His tonsils are huge so we are now thinking that this is the reason he has a texture problem when eating. We will look into it within the next week or so.

We had Jack's open house tonight for 1st grade. He is getting excited and was able to find his locker and meet his teacher. We also stopped by to see his Kindergarten teacher and she couldn't believe how much he had grown. She said that he looked 10. Jack was very excited to see her again. We were so lucky to have her for his 1st year. It is now back to going to bed early, fighting over what to wear and whining about getting up early. I can hardly wait!

Will has his open house this week also. He is very excited and has waited forever to go to school. He will be going to preschool 4's this year and I think he will do great. He is very outgoing and interested in learning everyting. He on the other hand does not care what he wears and does not mind getting up early so at least I will have 1 easy one!

Hannah is going to "mom's day out" 1 morning a week this year. I don't want to send her but she is so attached to me that she needs to have contact with other kids and adults. It will break my heart if she cries. I will probably just stand outside the door and cry with her like I did when I sent Will last year. I need to stick with it becasue I know she will enjoy it.

We have done so much this summer and it has gone so fast. Between swimming, splash parks, movies, the library, Fontanelle Forest camp, vacation bible school, camping, visiting friends, slumber parties and going to the zoo, we have kept very busy. Will is now looking forward to the Pumpkin Patch and his birthday.
