Camp KITAKI

Will attended his first overnight camp with his friend Lodan this summer. It was a 3 night camp and he made it clear when I picked him up that he wanted to go for the full week next year. He had a great time and learned a lot about spending long stretches of time with all different types of people. At the end of the 4 days the counselor gave each child a folder that marked the campers strengths and a little letter to the parents about the child. The boxes that the counselor marked really pegged Will correctly. I was proud of him for being a leader, a good friend and finding joy in whatever he does!
