Dance Recital 2012

The day for Hannah's dance recital had finally come. She looks forward to this day each year. Hannah and I went out for lunch and then to get her hair done. She was excited about her updo and was eager to get down to the Music Hall. We waited in line for seats for a while and then went to get dressed. Her first dance was ballet, then tap and jazz/hip hop. The recital had about 60 dances in all and Max, Jack and Will sat through all of then without getting up. Laurie, Olivia, Claire, Grandma Gail, Grandma Lana and Grandpa Bill were able to be there for her special day.

At the conclusion, she had a meltdown and refused to take any pictures which was disappointing. I really wanted to get a picture of her and Darren. Come to find out her ear hurt all day and she ended up having an ear infection. That coupled with the house alarm going off at 6am that morning made for a tired 6 year old.

She loved being on stage and knew her ballet and tap routine well. She is excited to get the CD so she can watch it over and over. She said that she wanted to take the same 2 classes next year so hopefully she will continue to enjoy it.
