Darren had a conference in Orlando last week so we decided to plan a trip to Disney World for the kids. Darren left on a Sunday and the kids and I left on Tuesday. Planning, researching and packing were the hardest part. The kids finished their homework for the days they would miss the week before we left so they did not have to worry about it after we returned.
We arrived in Orlando around 2pm, dropped our stuff at the hotel and I took the kids to Downtown Disney for dinner. We ate at "Sandwich of Earl" and we all decided that it was excellent. The kids still talk about it! We walked around and Will quickly spotted Lego Land. We spent about 2 hours there and Will could have stayed longer. I think Max dropped more Legos on the floor than he actually built with but managed to build 3 figures that he was very proud of! We headed back to the hotel for a good night's sleep before our big day at Magic Kingdom. Darren scared me to death when he showed up at our room around midnight. He said he tried calling multiple times and knocked but I did not hear a thing. Traveling with 4 kids takes a lot out of you!
