Jack went to football camp at Millard South at the end of July and Will went to a "Sample of Science" camp at Fontanelle Forest.
Will loved his camp and Jack hated his. In all fairness, the first day of Jack's camp is was 100 degrees and miserable but then it turned cooler and he still hated it! I was proud of him for going even though he did not know anybody but I am not sure if all of his complaining will be worth signing him up again.
At the end of each day they had Nebraska football players come and tell their experiences with school and sports. Many talked about how they worked harder in school to be able to play sports and how their teammates were always there to cheer them on both on the field and off. They also talked about how some of them were never the fastest players or the most athletic but what set them apart was their work ethic. They were great messages for the boys to hear. You don't have to be the game winning player, you just have to want it as bad as the best player.
