In the last couple of weeks, Jack has started flag football, Will is back at soccer and Hannah has started dance. We are getting use to the schedule and it works out. Darren takes care of everything football, we both go to soccer and I take Hannah to dance.
Jack loves football and is especially good at defense. He seems to really understand where he should be on the field and who he should be defending on each play. The games are fun to watch and his coach is great at teaching and not acting like the boys are in an NFL training camp. I think he will stick with it since next year he can play for Gretna and it is tackle. That makes me nervous.
Will is in his 2nd season of soccer and is very competitive. He steals the ball from his own players if it means he can score. He spends his share of time on the ground fighting for the ball and scores numerous goals a game. He told Darren after his last game that he is the best player on the team. It sounds like we need to work on what a "team" is and how they work together to win. He wishes there were games every night of the week and can't wait to play baseball and football next year.
Hannah finally (as she tells us) got to start dance again. All she talks about is the fancy recital in April. She then asks if April is far away and of course I tell her yes...very far away. She loves it and tells me that she can't tell me any of their moves because they are secrets. I asked her if she wanted to play soccer with Will in the spring and she looked at me like I was crazy. She said no...just dance, I do not play sports. I will keep trying but we just can't picture her running down the soccer field fighting for the ball.
I only have a picture of Hannah's new dance bag since she would not let me take pictures of her.
As for Max, he is just enjoying his few moments of peace he gets when no one is manhandling him or shoving the pacifier in his mouth!
