Jack's 15th Birthday
Hard to believe you are 15. It is true that time flies so fast. You have grown so much this year and really seem to be finding out who you are. You talk to me less and say I annoy you more but I think that is normal. You spend a lot of time with dad doing things that you both have in common. Riding motorcycles, repairing motorcycles, riding dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, shooting guns and driving cars. You seem to have more confidence in yourself and make your own decisions no matter what others are doing. You have found a love for fishing and told me you would rather take a long trip to Niobrara than go to Disney World.
You are taller than me now at almost 6 foot and eat all the time. You still do not like school but 8th grade was your best year yet. You made the merit roll all four quarters because I think you found out what study method works for you. You played basketball, football and ran track this year and worked hard at all of them. Your favorite line is "stop worrying about me" which you tell me at least once a day. Your favorite pastime is annoying Hannah but especially Max. You love to touch them until they scream. I took you to open a checking account and get a debit card and you would not look at me for the picture (see below). You passed drivers ed and your learners permit test. It was a long couple of weeks but you made it! You are now studying for your motorcycle permit test and that makes me very nervous!
