Darren & Jack's Fishing Trip

Darren took Jack to Niobrara for a fishing trip with Jason and Ryan and their boys. Jack has really started to take an interest in fishing over the past year and had a great weekend! They also watched some football, visited Adela and "ate" according to Jack.

Hannah Volleyball Fall 2013 - Undefeated!

Hannah decided last Spring she wanted to try volleyball so we found a friend who also wanted to play and signed them up. They ended up with a fantastic coach and had an undefeated season! Hannah loved going to practice and games and was sad that the season was now over. She said that she is excited to play again in the Spring. Now we need to work on putting a little competitive spirit in her!

The Zoo - Dinosaur Exhibit

I took Max to the zoo to see the dinosaur exhibit before it ended and he loved it. He brought his dino named Rex and actually carried it the whole time. I was sure that I would end up with it. Since we were the only ones there, we had our own tour guide who gave us a 5 minute history lesson on every dinosaur throughout the trail. It was "way more" than I ever wanted to know about dinosaurs but the guy was so excited to have someone to lead around that we went with it! At first max would not go in because he thought that they were real, but the tour guide let him go under the ropes to feel them and he felt a little bit better about it.

Birthdays - 9, 40, 41

We had a big week with 3 birthdays and went out to celebrate everyone at once!

Will Turns 9!

On October 1st Will turned 9. He was so excited but was not happy that he had to go to school and wait to open presents that evening. He made it through the day with the help of McDonald's brought to him for lunch by mom and Max. We ate with him and Max thought he was big stuff! He had a great day at school and spent the evening putting his new Lego set together. It was over 600 pieces so I thought it would take him at least a couple of days but he had to assembled in less than 2 hours! I think he is going to be an engineer... he has other ideas.

Will's 9th Birthday - Friend Party

Will had his friend party at Going Vertical. The kids played basketball and football in the gym and spent the other half of the time swimming. They obviously loved climbing on the submarine.
