Max & Mom
Since Max is my sole companion during the day, he is stuck being in the most pictures. Now that the kids are back in school, he is catching up on some much needed sleep!
Max's 1st Day of 3's Preschool
Max started preschool after Labor Day. He has asked to go to school for weeks. It took him an hour to pick out the perfect backpack at Target and he decided that he was tired of standing after a while so he sat down to think about it. He chose the Hot Wheels backpack and I am pretty sure it was because it came with a car!
He wasn't happy about the pictures but once we got to school and decided that he would stand under the tree for me before he walked in. I wasn't going to argue. I will take what I can get!
(Max pick the flower for me and when he gave it to me he told me he loved me and hugged me....he followed all of that up with "dad told me to do it!")
Darren's First Race
Darren entered his first race and Shawn flew in from Utah to be the co-pilot. They came in 3rd place over 4 days out of 15 cars in their class!

Just when they were starting to sleep in... school starts!
Max's 4th Birthday!
Max is 4!
This year has gone so quickly and it is hard to believe everything that Max does at 4.
He loves his 4-wheeler, soccer, his bike, scooter, dressing up as a super hero, wrestling with dad, playing ninjas and doing somersaults off of the couch. He plays "babies" with Hannah daily. He is the baby and Hannah is the mom. She is so patient with him and treats him like he is one. Max calls her mom more than he calls me mom.
Max loves swimming, playing with hot wheel cars, iPods, iPads, spending time with Darren and eating. People think that he is closer to six years old than four. He asks every day when he gets to start school and throws fits mainly when he is told he cannot do something that the older kids are doing. He is easy-going and easy to entertain. He started sharing a room with Will and tell me once a week that he wants he old room back so he doesn't have to share. Max is very out-going and likes to share with other kids.
He wanted to see the Disney Airplanes movie for his birthday so we took him and a friend. He felt special and had a lot of fun! He was also excited for his family party and liked it when everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to him!
