A Visit with Santa!

Santa's reindeer

I took the kids to see Santa and Max was very excited. Max kept telling me that Santa was his best friend. They were all really intrigued to see the reindeer but were very disappointed by the reindeer's lack of activity and they announced that they were not the "real reindeer".

We ate cookies, drank a lot of really hot, hot chocolate and took pictures by some stuffed reindeer.

PS: Max either doesn't smile for pictures lately or more likely gives me this really fake smile. He was really excited although he does not look like it!

Grandpa Jim

Grandpa Jim spent a week here and the kids loved every minute of having him. He was able to see Will play soccer and basketball and Jack play basketball. He picked Max up from preschool at Max's request and we went to lunch. He read the kids books, visited each of their rooms, and heard about their day at school. The kids asked every day they woke up the week grandpa was here if he would still be here when they returned from school. They had so much to tell him and I promised them that we would visit him this year in Arizona.

Handsome Cutie!

Will & Hannah both came home with notes from the nurse saying that they flunked the eye test at school. Every year one of the kids comes home with that note but every time I take them to an eye doctor they can see 20/20. I think that it has something to do with the fact that they are taking the eye test while standing next to 15 of their friends!

Will had been telling me that he could not see the board so he ended up needing glasses. He was excited at first, then not, then excited again. We picked them up a couple of days ago and he wears them constantly. I think he realizes how much he has missed.

He looks so cute!

Soccer - Fall 2012

Will's team came in first place at the end of season tournament! They played really hard and we were very proud of the boys!
