Memorial Weekend was nice. The weather held out for the most part. We went to Olivia's dance recital ( I finally posted her cute picture!) and went to our friend's house who live on a lake. Will and Jack had a blast jumping off the dock and Hannah couldn't get enough of the sand. I still cannot get the sand out that is embedded in Hannah's suit.

While grandpa was in town we celebrated Jack's 7th birthday. He was s0 excited to open his presents and just be older! He wanted a Nintendo DS so bad along with Heeleys. For those who do not know what Heeleys are, they are the shoes with the rollers on the bottom. EVERYONE has them in case you did not know! Grandma gave him the all importants elbow and knee pads for the many anticipated falls he will have. He had a great night. His 1st ever "kid party" is in a couple of days so we will see how it goes with a ton of kids running around. I have done next to nothing as of now in preparation so it should be intersting.

Jack has finally lost his other front tooth! I will post a picture as soon as I take one. The tooth fairy came and left him $2 and a note. He told me that he learned at school that if he put a quarter under his pillow that the tooth fairy would leave him a note written with sparkles. He told me this at 10pm at night so the tooth fairy did not have much time to get this done but managed!

Hannah is really funny right now. We cannot get her to use the big potty. I have found Will in her bedroom twice undressing her and putting on her princess panties all the while telling her that she is a big girl and needs to wear them. Hannah of course goes along with him and thinks it is funny. She tells us that she will go use the big potty "in a few minutes". Meanwhile we are still waiting!

Grandpa Jim was in town from sunny Arizona over Memorial Day. He went to Olivia's dance recital and we will have Jack's party a little early so he can be there. Livvy's recital was really cute and her hair and costume were adorable. I cannot wait until Hannah is old enough to dance.

Wow! It has been a long time since I updated. Jack has his last week of school this week and then he will officially be my 1st grader. He is getting so big and is in the 3rd month of growing out his hair. I am trying to be patient and see this through but I really like to clean cut look. I am hoping that the upcoming 90 degree weather will be all it takes to get it cut. He is adamant about how he wants it to look so we will see. What happened to boys not caring how they look or what they wear? Not our Jack! He just had his last soccer game and is not doing baseball this summer. He is going to vacation bible school, fontanelle Forest camp and will be in tuturing once a week to stay caught up on reading and math. He doesn't know much about the tutoring yet and he will not be a bit happy about it but that is life. He lost one of his front teeth and the other is barely hanging on. He has another one lose on the bottom. I have been trying to get the one hanging on the top out but no luck yet! His birthday is just around the corner and we invited his class over for games, a hayrack ride and food. He is really excited about his first friend party.

Will started Taekwando a couple of weeks ago and loves it., He just got his uniform and it is a size 000. He looks so cute in it and I can't wait to take him to class. Darren has been taking him becasue I thought he would cling to me if I went. He has been to excited to do every sport you can imagine but becasue of his birthday, he is not eligible for anything until Spring of 09. This is something that he could be invloved in now. He is such a good kid and is pretty happy doing just about anything. He has Jack's old soccer jersey and wear it to every one of Jack's games along with his cleats and shin guards. He brings his soccer ball and spends the hour of Jack's game just dribbling up and down the field behind us.

Will is also about finished with his once a week "moms day out". He has really enjoyed it and will be in 3-day a week preschool next year. He is very out-going so this will be great for him. Hannah and Will are very close and both miss each other a lot just the one morning a week Will goes now so next year will be really hard for both of them. Hannah is constantly asking where he is and when we can go pick him up. They hug when they leave each other and hug when we pick Will up. He is so caring with her and helpful. I am already sad thinking about Will going to kindergarten. That will be a tough day to say the least. What will I do with myself with just Hannah?
